You can now directly send photos from Lightroom on the iPad to Photoshop

Adobe makes transferring pictures smoother for two of the main iPad applications. After an update today, the "Delete in Photoshop" icon will be activated directly on iPad for the Lightroom iPad. You can either tap the "Send back to Lightroom" button in Photoshop or save it as a Cloud PSD. You will have to re-stock the photos in Photoshop.

Moving files from Adobe applications and into them on the iPad was one of the minor yet challenging challenges. You had been able to import photos directly from an SD card years before.

Moving from Lightroom to Photoshop is a very common workflow for editors, so that the process is much faster and more convenient. The editors can do it before, but any time they decide to move apps they will need to manually export and import modified files.

Today, Adobe reports a few more changes to Photoshop and Lightroom. Lighroom has a platform-by-platform "local Hue" adjustment, an improved watermarking process and a feature to save various versions of edits that synchronize across platforms.

Photoshop on the desktop has been upgradeded with a select tool that focuses on better people cutting in portrait images and upgrading the Image Raw interface to match Lightroom more closely.
