Pedal warm. It's irremediable, winter is approaching (without reference to Game of Thrones ). And with it, despite your best will, the opportunities to get on your bicycle will melt like snow in the sun. But console yourself, all hope of cycling is not lost, especially thanks to the RoyalBees, an exercise bike so refined that it would make the most beautiful of little queens look like a low cost bike.
The little queen (bees). Designed by German company Altinsoy Manufaktur , the RoyalBees indoor bike takes its name from the honeycomb structure of its titanium-coated aluminum alloy frame. A construction not only super pretty, but also interesting in terms of strength, since it can withstand the torsions and the weight of a cyclist of up to 150 kilos, without requiring welding. Eight height-adjustable feet on the ground keep the platform level on uneven floors.
On the mechanical side, the German manufacturer SRM provides the magnetic resistance system and the integrated power meters, the latter notably allowing compatibility with performance monitoring applications and virtual cycling platforms like Zwift . Little more, RoyalBees allows you to use the handlebars and the saddle of your own bike to make the indoor cycling experience close to that of everyday life.
The price of a car. Given the caliber of the machine, the RoyalBees is obviously not cheap. If the brand's site does not provide any price, the online magazine NewAtlas says that the German company has indicated an entry level to 10,900 euros. Not a trifle (it's the price of a small car) but a logical sum for a super high-end object allowing 108 different customization options including black, chrome or gold titanium coatings or laminated layers of walnut, d ebony, Zebrano or teak. We warned you: the machine is sending wood.
