Billionaire Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic Holdings said that it joined NASA on Monday to develop a private mission promotion program at the International Space Station, which will increase the company 's share by more than 14 percent.
The space tourist corporation will recognize companies involved in private missions and establish training programs, as well as transportation support, on-orbit and ground services, as part of its partnership with the Johnson Space Centre.
NASA depends heavily on private corporations who have expressed space exploration values, planning for a long-term stay on the moon and planning for a manned Mars flight.
The space launch system, expected to be launched next year, is NASA's 2024 journey to bring people to the Planet.
Virgin Galactic shares rose in premarket trading to $17.13 (roughly Rs. 1,310).
