New reports have come out of hacking campaigns linked directly and indirectly to Russia's war in Ukraine. Many experts had predicted earlier that Russia could launch significant cyber attacks in Ukraine in order to cripple the country's cyber security system. These predictions might be coming true as new threats of cyber attacks are beginning to emerge which are now being seen as an indicator of an even bigger Cyber attack in Ukraine.

On Monday, Google released a statement in which the company claimed it had uncovered massive phishing attacks targeting Ukrainian officials and Polish military. Security outfit Resecurity Inc also came up with evidence of a coordinated hacking campaign targeting US firms which supply natural gas. In both cases, attacks are being linked to groups associated with Russia and its allies.
