Twitter flags four of President Trump's tweets on the counting of votes

Twitter flagged four tweets from President Trump on Saturday for making "potentially false statements about the election," said the company's spokeswoman, continuing its efforts to try to curb disinformation on its site.
 
The President tweeted, without evidence, that tens of thousands of votes were obtained unlawfully after 8 p.m. On Tuesday, Election Day, the results in Pennsylvania and several other thin-filled states were absolutely and quickly modified. He said thousands of ballots were illegally not permitted to be OBSERVED, and said poor things were going on, at a time when LEGAL Disclosure was viciously and grossly not allowed.
 
The website branded a fifth tweet where the President announced that he had won the election by a lot with a note that government sources may not have called the race when it was Tweeted and a link to news sources about the election.
 
Twitter also flagged a quote-tweet that was tweeted by the President, adding a statement to the tweet by Rep. Jim Jordan. The President said that people were seeking accountability and. .. Legal Observers were denied access to count rooms! There is no indication that legitimate monitors have been barred from counting ballots in states that have yet to be named.
 
As of Saturday morning, former Vice-President Joe Biden had 253 of the 270 electoral college votes expected to win the presidency. Biden was leading in the Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona polls, according to the New York Times. A Twitter spokesperson told The Verge Saturday morning in an email that the site had put alerts on three tweets and one quote-tweet in accordance with our Civic Honesty Policy, and as is usual with this notice, we will substantially limit the commitments on these Tweets.
 
Twitter has been a strong proponent of its Public Integrity Policy since election day, with many marks added to President Trump's tweets about election and ballot counting. More than a dozen of the President's tweets were called Friday morning. The Saturday morning tweets were named less than an hour after their introduction.
 
In a tweet that was not flagged on Saturday, the President declared a lawyer's press conference at 11:30 AM ET in Philadelphia.
