Times are changing: Total has just opened its first 100% electric station

New Total. The information has undoubtedly gone a bit unnoticed, but very recently the Total group renamed itself TotalEnergies . A change of identities (name and logo) which accompanies a change in the DNA of the group, now a multi-energy company. Following in the footsteps of this first transformation, a 100% electric station has just been opened in Courbevoie, in the famous business district of La Défense (92).

Symbolic choice. Three months of work were necessary to convert this station - planted at the foot of the group's headquarters, quite a symbol - into 100% electric. A first in France. There are now six terminals with charging powers ranging from 43 to 175 kilowatts and offering T2, Combo CCS and ChadeMo connectors. On the pricing side, it takes 0.30 euros per minute for a charge of 45 kilowatts and 0.55 euros per minute for an ultra-fast charge of 175 kilowatts.

European ambitions. Total has planned to transform a second 100% electric service station, still in the capital but this time within the city walls, in the Beaugrenelle district (15th arrondissement) with an opening scheduled for fall 2021. Apart from Paris, Total is increasing the establishment and acquisition of charging points in various large European cities - Amsterdam, Brussels, London - hoping to operate more than 150,000 charging points for electric vehicles by 2025. If you drive electric, you will no longer come to them by chance.
