TikTok launches the new Amazon Fire TV application.

TikTok launches today (through Business Insider) its first television application, known as "More on TikTok," on Amazon Fire TV devices. Amazon Spokesman Delaney Simmons confirmed in an email to The Verge that the App will have curated video playlists and compilations from the mobile TikTok application. It also includes interviews with creators and other contents that exceed TikTok 's mobile app's one-minute limits.
 
We have thought about how to connect with and how to offer our users more dynamic experiences by using streams like TV, and we feel that it's natural to bring the content of TikTok to a certain degree, said TikTok 's global marketing manager.
 
TikTok is experimenting with how well its mobile video format works on TV screens, according to Business Insider. More on TikTok is a view-only channel so that no login information and no user can upload videos or exchange coins is required. It is free to use and will have no publicity at launch.
 
In addition , two categories of content will be available in the TV App – "In the Studio" and "This is TikTok," which will highlight creators. The App will be available in a variety of different languages.
 
Amazon says it saw a significant increase in mobile Fire TV usages during the first six months of the year due mainly to people living at home during the coronavirus pandemic, such as Facebook Watch, Peloton, Masterclaw and Audible.

Microsoft has said that it was Sunday after President Trump threatened to ban Tiktok in the US to purchase TikTok from the ByteDance parent company, which has its headquarters in China. The rival Instagram was launched in 50 countries on Wednesday by his competitor, TikTok, named Reels.
