Windows Central announced that Microsoft restored custom Xbox Live gamerpics. At the end of March, the Tech Giant disabled the ability to upload gamerpics, party pics and party backgrounds with a increasing demand.
Other cloud services from Microsoft, including Windows Virtual Desktop, Mixer and Xbox Game Transfer, also experienced huge demand in the March as a result of a coronavirus pandemic many people were on lockout.
It also said that during the off-peak gaming hours it collaborated with game makers for higher bandwidth events, such as game updates.
Reinstalling features such as customized gamerpics could help ease Xbox Live demand pressure with looser lock-downs and social distance measures in many areas. Microsoft didn't respond to a Sunday comment request immediately.
In April, Microsoft announced that the content and services of Xbox increased 2% over the third quarter of the year.
