The updated PowerPoint competitor, Paste, from WeTransfer spares you time from being designed

The following version of the Paste slideshow app is launched today by WeTransfer with new tools.
If you're unknown to Paste, FiftyThree, the Paper drawing and sketching app manufacturer for iOS, first launched PowerPoint competitor in 2017. In August 2018, WeTransfer acquired FiftyThree 's assets and now starts what it calls Paste 2.0.
A new "layout engine," dubbed "Bento," is the largest change for Paste 2.0. Past and other diaphragm tools have many options for fast layout changes or preset designs but the Bento engine can modified the formatting of a diaphragm on the fly in response to direct twists, including the resizing of an image.

In a video interview last Woche, Georg Petschnigg, co-founder of FiftyThree, and head of WeTransfer innovation, gave me a tour of what Bento is able to do.

Petschnigg put some text into a slide in one instance, adding an image to it. As the image was revamped, the text and the structure were dynamically scaled so that the image was shrunk as it increased. This is an instance of what the WeTransfer GIF looks like:
In another demo, Petschnigg took pictures of the grid, dragged them out into four columns and added subtitles, which can be a great way to compare pictures beside each other.

You can also change the background, layout and alignment of many slides at the same time using Paste 2.0. This is a GIF demonstrating the formatting of multi-slides:

These may not appear to be the most exciting updates on the surface. The aim of the new layout engine, however, is to allow people only to focus on making a good slideshow rather than on "all the carefulness with which everything has to be laid out by hand," says Peter. And I can really see how these updates will save you from modifying your slides to resize every picture and set every font.

Another important characteristic of Paste is its collaborative application.

Petschnigg says, "Paste has been designed from the ground up to meet a distributed team very quickly in order to share their ideas." You can edit the presentations of other people , for example, and discuss or drop an emoji reaction. And Slack integrates the product deeply.

The new layout-engine will thus boost the often difficult process of creating a diaporama in collaboration with your team in accordance with the cooperation tools.

According to WeTransfer, over 40,000 teams use Paste, but Petschnigg would not let me know how many of those teams pay for subscriptions.

WeTransfer provides a free option that allows you to build up to three slide decks, a $10 / month deck package for one or four users, and a $30 / month scheme for five or twenty-five members, including unlimited decks.

Today, you can launch Paste 2.0 and use it either on the web or via the iOS program. The update is "not fast" on the way to Ios, says Petschnigg, but it's "somewhat we 're definitely talking about."
