The new Mindstorms Package from Lego helps children to create their own robots and speak

The Mindstorms Robot Inventor Kit in Lego is a recent bundle that helps children to build and develop robots. The Kit contains 949 parts which include a color sensor, a distance sensor, four motors and the "Intelligent Center" with Lego's Bluetooth capability. This Kit is designed to teach children basic STEM skills, which include programming, and is the first new entry into the Mindstorms lineup in seven years.

The package is equipped with five robots guidance. Blast looks like one of the most beautiful bunches, and Brothers Brick states that they use every hub, engine and sensor in the pack.

Lego says that he can feel his environment and fire darts. There's also Charlie, a smaller robot, who dances and gives out high-five, and Tricky, a "sporty" robot who plays basketball, football and bowling. Gelo is a quadruples that can walk and avoid obstacles, and eventually the MVP is mounted on various vehicles such as buggies or cranes.

The package includes the latest intelligent hub from Lego, which is identical to the Spike Prime package from the company.

This includes a 5x5 LED matrix which allows simple animated faces for Blast and Charlie robots, but it also has 6-axis Gyro / Accelerometer, a speaker, and a Micro USB port which supports Bluetooth connectivity. It has six input and output ports so that a variety of sensors and motors can be connected.

The Lego Robot Inventor App for free Mindstorms (available on Windows 10, macOS, iOS and Android) contains instructions for building and coding each robot but can also be used to code it using its Scratch-and-Drop-based drag and drop programming language as well as Python.

These are particularly helpful when you take up the challenge of creating your own designs. This app can also synchronize your own controller with your creations.

The only minor thing about it is that the Mindstorms Robot Inventor kit will not come cheap when it is launched in the fall, at $359.99 / €359.99 / £329.99. If this price seems to be somewhat high, try to say $72 per robot.
