Lora DiCarlo undoubtedly did not plan to change CES for ever, but only last year did the sexual health firm and its personal massage.
Lora DiCarlo was successly lobbying for sexual health devices to be allowed this year after having been revoked and banished from showing her award (and had its award reinstated).
Well now, we finally see his personal massager at Osé for a first time. It's very surprising — I never saw such a tool, so I can see why it won an innovation award.
By simultaneously stimulating the G spot and clitoris the Osé massager attempts to imitate human touch. The apparatus is not at all vibrating. The company focused its efforts instead on the creation of the product that could replicate a "come here" move to stimulate a G-spot and suck the clitoris.
I have admittedly been skeptical of Lora DiCarlo — we have not seen a working prototype in all that dispute — but the company has apparently produced what it wants to make.
CES is a prime place for vaporware. The device's shaft has a sphere in which the movement "comes here" protrudes and descends and the speed and stroke length can be regulated with buttons at the bottom of the device.
The shaft also curves to fit the pelvic angle of each person. In the meantime it can also be adjusted to intensity with the clitoral stimulator, using a motor to flow air in andout.
If, like I did on the floor of the show, you put your thumb over it, it will form a seal which will make it feel that the device is attached.
In the drones and robotics category in 2019, Lora DiCarlo was awarded her Creativity Award. Then, just as the convention began, the company announced that the Consumer Tech Association, which is presenting the convention, had received the awards again after it had allegedly quoted a rule which disqualifies products that are 'immoral, obscene, unbelievable, profana or not in line with the CTA picture.'
In any event, Lora DiCarlo lost the award and took part in a press conference to reveal the lack of understanding and interest of the technology industry in sexual health.
This led an online vocal group to speak out against CTA, which not only encouraged the industry group to reinstate Lora 's award, but also to make sex technology available on the CES show floor.
In the Health and Wellness Segment, these devices are approved this year, provided that the community finds them to be "innovative and involve emerging or modern technology." Therefore Lora DiCarlo and other companies debute public products this week.
Lora DiCarlo has revealed two more items this week, apart from showing the Osé: the Onda and the Baci. They are basically the Osé divided into two rather than one bits. The Onda strengthens the G, and the Baci activates the clitoris.
Lora DiCarlo is the first sex technology company we saw this year at CES, but there are more to come. Lora DiCarlo says it sold approximately 10,000 Osés this month during its presale. Although the feedback definitely concern me, the history of the product is already set.
