The Surface Duo by Microsoft looks like it is ready to start

Microsoft has tweaked the Surface Duo on Twitter over recent weeks and now appears to have ready to launch the dual-script device. The new Android device from Microsoft first appeared at the FCC at the beginning of this week, and it was launched today on the Bluetooth SIG Certification page. In the FCC and Bluetooth listings, devices typically appear only a couple weeks after launch.

The Surface Duo may come out in July in recent rumors, but it is evident that this device is not ready to launch this month. Rather, Microsoft seems more and more likely in the coming weeks to launch the Surface Duo.

Sources known for Microsoft plans say to The Verge that the company planned to concentrate on Build 's Surface Duo and two-screen devices earlier this year. These plans changed after it became clear that Building will be held virtually because of the pandemic and Microsoft has also reversed its dual-screen Windows 10X plans far beyond 2020.

Although some developers have already access to developer units with two-screens, at one point Microsoft planned to get Surface Duo to developers much sooner. The pandemic affected Surface Duo, like many things, but we understand that by the end of September Microsoft still hopes to ship this equipment.

In addition to rumors about the surface duo starting, Evan Blass also suggested that the AT&T network will include a surface duo. Typically, Blass receives unreleased phone marketing images and materials a few weeks or months prior to launch, suggesting that the surface duo are almost ready to launch.

Microsoft spent the summer on Twitter teasing the Surface Duo before it was launched. Microsoft's chief of communication, Frank Shaw, posted a photos of the Surface Duo just days after Surface chief Panos Panay hissed a new case on Twitter. Last week, Brad Anderson, Microsoft's executive, also released the same case on LinkedIn.

In the first press event held in October in New York City, Microsoft presented the surface duo as a promise to launch the device on holidays in 2020.

Although the company has not yet shared its official hardware data, leaks suggested that it will include a Snapdragon Qualcomm 855 processor, 6 GB of RAM, storage capacity up to 256 GB and two 5.6 inch screens.
