Tesla's Complete Self-Driving beta is now open to more drivers, according to Elon Musk.

Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, announced that the company's "Complete Self-Driving" (FSD) beta would be doubled in size with a recent software update, with the number of participants potentially rising tenfold.

Musk tweeted on Friday, Still be cautious, but it's maturing. Due to high demand, he said on Saturday that Tesla would add a "download beta" button to Tesla displays in the coming days.

The FSD beta was first made available to Tesla vehicle owners in its Early Access Program in October. Musk said at the time that the organization was approaching the software update very carefully. Drivers must keep their hands on the steering wheel at all times and be ready to take control of their Tesla at any moment. According to Electrek, Tesla uses data from the FSB beta to improve results. Last month, Musk said that around 1,000 vehicles were in the beta program.

The word "beta" is used in Tesla's case to minimize complacency in use and set reasonable standards, according to Musk. Tesla simulation and QA drive teams test all software first.”
