Spotify launches a couple premium scheme

Spotify facilitates the division of premium membership costs for couples who live together, while fusioning their taste for music also. Premium Duo, a company that costs $12,99 a month and allows two persons who live in the same place to share a plan while keeping their own accounts, is debuting its newest subscription offering.

Spotify is also going to create a special playlist for Duo Mix with Premium Duo which will regularly update the music you like and incorporate. The idea is that Spotify knows what you and your partner like, so its software will create a playlist that will appeal to you both in the house.

You can switch between a playlist that is upgrading or chilling.

Existing, single Premium members can upgrade their account record or preferences to Premium Duo at any time. A membership in the family plan is $2 more than the Duo. This plan also includes a special playlist for family mix, which promises the same as a duo, except for the preferences of the whole family. One membership fee costs $9.99.

Spotify clearly tries to develop a premium plan for every stage of life. It offers student discounts, a family plan for children, and now a couple's plan.

Spotify attaches special importance to recurring subscription revenues during the COVID-19 pandemic because advertisers tighten their budgets. In its recent earnings report , the company stated that its revenues supported by ads were lower than expected, thereby lowering its revenue guidance for the year.

As such, Premium has been made available only for subscribers by means of features. For example, Premium users can share DJ tasks with anyone nearby and hide songs from playlists. It has previously also offered Premium members free Hulu and Google Home Mini.

Spotify expects everyone to finally become a Premium subscriber with more plans and features.
