Realme 's impressive success in India has made it one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in the world, and today the business is expanding into the nebulous "lifestyle tech" segment with products in different categories.
Next up is the first smartwatch of Realme, imaginatively called the Realme Watch. It has a square configuration with a 1.4-inch 320x320 LCD display and runs what appears to be a custom Android version. You can view alerts, monitor music, hang up phone calls, and do other typical smartwatch things.
Realme reports 7 to 9 days of battery life from the watch, or 20 days in its power-saving mode.
Realme reports 7 to 9 days of battery life from the watch or 20 days in its power-saving mode. Nonetheless, after my experience with the latest watch from Oppo 's technical stablemate, I would like to test the argument for myself.
Realme 's watch has much of the same features as the fitness band that the company released in March, including a heart rate sensor, sleep monitoring, and an Indian-targeted cricket tracking feature. The larger screen makes this look more like a Fitbit-style watch, though, and the bands can be removed easily if you choose to adjust the theme.
The Realme Watch will cost Rs. 3,999 (~$50) and will be available from Flipkart and Realme.com on 5 June.
First is Realme Smart TV, a pair of Android TV sets that see Realme imitate smartphone makers including OnePlus and Xiaomi by heading to India's TV market. There is a 32-inch 720p version and a 43-inch 1080p model — no 4 K version here, while Realme says that the sets support HDR10 and HLG, reaching up to 400 brightness nits. They use the MediaTek quad-core processor and the Dolby Audio-certified 24W quad speakers.
The TVs will go on sale on Realme 's website and on Flipkart on 2 June. The 43-inch package will be priced for Rs. 21,999 ($290) while the 32-inch edition will be Rs. 12,999 ($170).
Certain items launched today include Rs. 2,999 ($40) Realme Buds Air Neo, a better-sounding pair of fully wireless earbuds, and a new 10,000mAh power bank for Rs. 999 ($13). They 're both going to be open today.
