Pornhub adds bitcoin and litecoin premium content payments
Pornhub, a popular adult entertainment platform, has added two popular cryptocurrencies to payment options.
- In a tweet on Wednesday, the company revealed that it is now accepting bitcoin ( BTC) and litecoin ( LTC) in payment for its Pornhub Premium product.
- The organization has been accepting cryptocurrency (XVG) for consumer payments since 2018.
- Since then, it has allowed its entertainers to pay in tether (USDT), a stablecoin linked to the US dollar.
- Pornhub has previously confirmed that it would also allow both tron (TRX) and horizen (ZEN) for content, but its web page currently lists only verge.
- Pornhub has had difficulties with conventional methods of finance in the past, when PayPal abruptly stopped payments to the platform without warning.
- Corey Price, vice president of Pornhub, said that at the time the site was looking into more cryptocurrency options in the future.
