Parliament TV statement - Cyber ​​attack on the channel

Sansad Television's YouTube channel Sansad TV has been removed by YouTube from its platform. Parliament TV, in an earlier statement on this action, had said that the channel was hacked at around 1 pm on 15 February, which was restored around 4 am. Parliament TV said in a press release that the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT In) and YouTube India have been informed in this regard. The release claimed that it was the hacker who changed the channel's name to Ethereum, which is a cryptocurrency, after hacking the channel.


Now it is reported that YouTube has temporarily removed the channel of Parliament TV for violating the Community Guidelines. Earlier it was not showing on YouTube on the channel but now I am getting 404 error. Actually a video was uploaded on the channel which was against YouTube's Community Guidelines. YouTube removed the channel only after this video. All videos on this TV have also been removed.


Just a few days back, the Twitter account of Go First Airline was hacked. GoFirst Airline's Twitter account was under hacker's possession for more than 24 hours, however the account has now been restored. After hacking the Twitter account of Go First airline, the hacker changed the account profile name to Mlcheal Sayloor.
Let us tell you that since the beginning of the corona infection, there has been a rapid increase in the hacking case. A few months back, Google claimed in a report that India is slowly becoming a hotbed of ransomware attacks. Google had shared data for the last one and a half years, in which more than 80 million ransomware attack samples were analyzed. Based on this data, India is ranked 6th in the list of 140 countries in terms of ransomware attacks.
