Pakistan and Hungary have agreed to enhance their scientific and technological collaboration.

In a meeting between Hungary's Ambassador Bela Fazekas and Pakistan's Federal Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz on Monday, the two countries agreed to deepen their bilateral science and technology connections.

Ambassador Bela Fazekas also extended an invitation to Shibli Faraz, Minister of Science and Technology, to attend the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo and Summit, which will take place in November this year.

The Federal Minister stated on several occasions that Pakistan is one of the countries most affected by climate change.

He stressed that the existing administration is focused on water management, agriculture, and food security as a result of this.

He told the ambassador that Pakistan is also planning a national conference on water concerns, which would be followed by an international conference.

In addition, the minister believed that both countries might benefit from each other's skills and experience in numerous sectors.

While praising the Hungarian scholarships for Pakistani students, the Federal Minister noted that all of these graduates will serve as Hungary's ambassadors in Pakistan and help to develop bilateral ties.
