Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the students on August 1 at 7 pm in the grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon. PM talks directly to students every year on the occasion of technical solutions to problems with software and hardware in Hackathon. During this time students will also be encouraged to devise more and more technology under self-reliant India.

A meeting was held with AICTE officials on Monday under the chairmanship of HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on the grand finale preparations. Smart India will be the grand finale of Hackathon 2020 from August 1 to 3.

In this, a team of ten thousand students selected from all over the country will solve 243 problems with technology. The fourth edition of the competition was attended by 4.5 lakh participants. The first level screening took place in college level in January. Based on this, the winning teams were screened by experts and evaluators at the national level. Ten thousand students selected in this screening are participating in the Grand Finale.
