The company reported Thursday that Google adds its Voice Match and the default speaker selection capabilities to all Google Assistant compatible apps.
Praveen Channran, Google Product Manager, writes in a blog post, "To support an open ecosystem and to offer Google Adjunct features to everyone globally," added the company.
Voice map lets the wizard tell what a household member speaks and customize responses and users can select the preferred option between different devices using the default speaker selection.
Google is also extending the sensitivity configuration to make a device more or less sensitive to the "Hey Google" activation phrase.
Google confirmed in the blog post that all assistant-enabled devices will be rolling out the features this week.
Google confirmed last month that it was running a Voice Match program to ensure secure shopping on smart speakers and smart displays.
