Nearby Feature in India, Apple Maps Extends Real-Time Transit Information
In India, Apple Maps has allowed users to find local facilities such as food supplies, grocers, medical shops, gasoline pumps and restaurants.
Apple has also extended real-time transit data for its Maps app in Canada, Sweden and the Netherlands along with the latest update for Indian users.
Many new towns in the country have also reached the real-time transit feature which was originally able to provide live departure, arrival times and the present public transport location in some US cities.
Use the nearby Apple Maps feature to see places like nearby food delivery centers, food stores, hospitals , medical centres, gas pumps, restaurants and shopping centers in India. All you do is tap the search field for your nearby attractions on the Apple Maps app.
Since the first turn-by-turn navigation on Indian users' Apple Maps in January 2019, the close-out feature has been awaited. Furthermore, the new step will make the mapping app of Apple a stronger competitor against Google Maps, which has a similar close up feature for quite some time.
Apple's Role Availability Microsite shows that the nearby Apple Maps functionality is extended to more than 30 countries in addition to India. The countries are Argentina, Belgium, Czech Republic , Hungary, Macau, Mexico, Montserry, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Singapore , Thailand, Thailand, Thailand, Spain and Vietnam, Croatia, Hungary, Hong Kong, Germany and Turkey.

Furthermore, in real time transit information was provided by Apple Maps in Canada, England, the Netherlands, Scotland, Sweden and Wales.
In Australia, China and the US, the function also reached 32 new cities. Initially, it was started to provide detailed transportation schedules, live departure times, arrival times and the current location of a bus or train en routes, in the United States including the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Los Angeles.
Apple Maps is also increasing the number of round trips to the Aland Islands in China, the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Bonaire, Dominica, Greece, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, St. Thomas, St. Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Palestinian Territories.
