Motorola's two new smartphones are on budget: Motorola E's $149.99 entry level and Moto G's $199.99 Quick. The two new calls will enable the line-up of Moto G Power ($249.99) and GStylus ($299.99) to be consolidated across budget and midrange space by joining Moto E and MotoG Fast.
The new Motor E replaces the old Moto E6, and the G Fast replaces the G7 Play, for comparisons to last year. Motorola seems to have completely scrapped the previously used numbering scheme as with other G-series telephones introduced earlier this year.
With the similar design and 19:9 hole punch display, the G Fast is very similar to the Moto G Power and Stylus. Almost all specs on the latest G Fast are reduced by comparison to its pricier siblings: although the Snapdragon 665 processor is the same, the display is a 720-panel display, instead of 1080-panel found on the other G-series handsets, but just 3 GB of RAM (instead of 4 GB) and only 32 GB of internal storages (in contrast to 64 GB and128 GB for G power and stYLUS).
The G Fast 's cameras also are practically the same as the G Power: one main camera of 16 megapixels, an ultra-wide 118-megapixel 8 and a Macro camera of 2 megapixels. A 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies is also available. The G Stylus has the same 4000mAh battery, but not as good as that battery 5000mAh which is named after the priest G Power. The specification sheet is completed with an IP52 water repellent for occasional drip or rain shower, a rear fingersprint, USB-C charging, a 3.5 mm headphone boost and.
In comparison with last year's E6, the Moto E is a more substantial upgrade. The phone has moved from a 5.5-inch screen to a 6.2-inch display with a teardrop (though still 720p) (even though the chinn remains high with a smaller bezel) in size. The rear fingerprint sensor is also available, which is the first one to the E lineup.
In addition, Motorola moved a beefier processor from the 435 Snapdragon to the 632 Snapdragon. Although internal storage has doubled to 32 GB, RAM is still the same as E6 2 GB. In addition, the rear camera was upgraded to a double-lens configuration with a 13-megapixel main lens, joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
There is an IPX2 rating for water and dust (that, again, is good for a spritzing at best), as well as a 3,550mAh battery.
Motorola still decided to use a Micro USB port to charge rather than a USB-C. Bafflingly. This is a ridiculous judgment regarding the E6 in 2019 and one year later it rises to the absurdity of its successor.
