Microsoft is upgrading its Team Services with a new Interactive Perspective in March. This new perspective allows consumers to exchange content side by side with participants. It looks best positioned for gatherings where someone shows a slide deck or where attendees watch a live event together.
Dynamic content, such as earnings releases, slide decks or videos, may be viewed alongside other speakers. Actually in Teams, camera streams of other members are small while individuals are swapping screens or delivering decks. The Microsoft Gallery View for Teams would automatically optimize this new view and encourage participants to customize the view.
It will also highlight more explicitly active speakers, people who have digitally lifted their hands, and encourage participants to pin people to diverse content. Originally released all the way back in July, this updated Immersive View will be open to all users of Microsoft Teams in March, according to Microsoft's 365 feature roadmap.
The use of Microsoft Teams has grown over the last 10 months of the pandemic, with more than 115 million users using the app every day. Microsoft also added features to Teams on a monthly basis, with immersive breakout rooms appearing in December alongside enhanced call experience.
