Microsoft Flight Simulator launches for PC on 18 August. In recent months, Microsoft has conducted private alpha testing of the new title, and today it is ready for pre-order and pre-installation. Microsoft Flight Simulator is the most recent version of the hyper-detailed series running since the 1980s. This follows Microsoft's 2014 release of Flight Simulator X: Steam Version.

The newest game introduces a new day and night engine that allows players to fly at any time of day, as well as a new checklist system that scales with instrument instructions and checklists before takeoff for beginners or pro players. In addition, Microsoft Flight Simulator features real-time weather, live traffic, and animals in its universe.
