After a worldwide outage affecting users on both mobile and desktop, LinkedIn is back up. Around 2PM ET, the Microsoft-owned social network first started experiencing problems, and at 4:21PM ET, LinkedIn confirmed things were back to normal.
The company did not give a specific reason for the outage, although it jokingly suggested the problems may have been due to a character from WandaVision.
It's rare to experience outages on LinkedIn. In January last year, LinkedIn last experienced widespread problems, when users were unable to post to the service or make new connections. The outage today affected the entire website, and for most users, it was not loaded at all.
