Users of Jio Fiber can use Zee5 Premium for free now. The new development comes just days after the one year free access to Amazon Prime service has been provided to Jio Fiber subscribers.
Users just have to open the Zee5 app for Zee5 Premium subscription on their Jio set-top box. A library of over 4,500 films and over 120 originals is supposed to be available for video streaming.
Content is also available in 12 languages. Besides free access through the Jio Top box, Zee5 will soon be included in the JioTV+ app to ensure that all eligible Jio Fiber users can easily access its content.
For all new and existing Jio Fiber users on the Silvery Plan and above, Zee5 Premium subscription of Rs. 99 a month is available. A monthly rental for Rs. 849 is required for the Silver plan.
You will start watching Zee5 Premium movies and shows after you go to the Zee5 app from your TV once you're an qualified user of Jio Fiber.
"This integration helps us keep customers in touch with and entertain Jio Fiber across a variety of devices," Manpreet Bumrah, Vice President, Business Development and Commercial Head of Zee5, said in a media release. "With the lockdown the number of subscriptions and streaming on our platform was significant.
Last week the annual Amazon Prime subscription worth Rs. 999 has been awarded to Jio Fiber users on and above broadband Gold plans. The subscription includes the Prime Vorteils on the site of Amazon India and the Amazon Prime Music and Access to Amazon Prime Video.
Zee5 Premium has recently been available
Recently, Zee5 extended its partnership with Airtel to allow all its prepaid subscribers to reload free Zee5 Premium for Rs. 149 and beyond unlimited charge schemes. The Airtel Thanks app can be used until 12 July.
