India's 'Chingari' App in China Tiktok collision, record breaking download
The 'Desi' app Chingari, which competed in China's Tiktok, has received a great response in India. This app has more than 5 lakh downloads in just 72 hours.
Chingari is also a short video sharing platform like TikTok. The developers of this app said in a statement, "The popularity of the Made in India app is increasing as users are boycotting Chinese social apps."
After the skirmish between China and Indian soldiers in Galvan Valley, the campaign to boycott Chinese products in India is increasing steadily.
In this skirmish, 20 Indian soldiers were killed. The incident took place on 15 June in Galvan Valley in eastern Ladakh.
What did app developers say?
Biswatma Nayak and Siddharth Gautam, developers of the Chingari app, said, "The popular video sharing app has 500,000 Users in just an hours, and subscribers are joining the Chingari family."
Left Mitron app behind
App developers claim that this app has overtaken Tiktok's clone app Friends (Mitron) app. He further said that Spark is trending at number one on the Google Play Store.
What is special about Chingari App?
Videos can be uploaded and downloaded in the Chingari app. Apart from this, creativity can be done with chatting with friends, interacting with new people, browsing WhatsApp with WhatsApp status, videos, audio clips, GIF stickers and photos.
Mitron came in a clash of Tiktok
The app was launched as a native version of Tiktok. People took it in hand. Alam has been that within a month the number of downloads of this app has crossed 50 lakhs. There was a lot of discussion in India about this app. Later the Pakistani connection of this app was also revealed. After this the app was removed from the play store.
