The 'Desi' app Chingari, which competed in China's Tiktok, has received a great response in India. This app has more than 5 lakh downloads in just 72 hours.
Chingari is also a short video sharing platform like TikTok. The developers of this app said in a statement, "The popularity of the Made in India app is increasing as users are boycotting Chinese social apps."
After the skirmish between China and Indian soldiers in Galvan Valley, the campaign to boycott Chinese products in India is increasing steadily.
In this skirmish, 20 Indian soldiers were killed. The incident took place on 15 June in Galvan Valley in eastern Ladakh.

App developers claim that this app has overtaken Tiktok's clone app Friends (Mitron) app. He further said that Spark is trending at number one on the Google Play Store.

Videos can be uploaded and downloaded in the Chingari app. Apart from this, creativity can be done with chatting with friends, interacting with new people, browsing WhatsApp with WhatsApp status, videos, audio clips, GIF stickers and photos.
