The Indian intelligence services reported in the Hindustan Times on 52 Chinese apps that should be blocked later with a view to preventing cyber disadvantage. In a list of Chinese cyber doors to spy and steal information and can be exploited in any critical circumstances, apps such as the user browser UC, TikTok, ShareIt and so on. Thus, few Chinese apps have been listed, even supported by the National Security Council, to warn citizens of their use.
China's malicious applications and hacking of governmental institutions as cyber-espionage have been accused.
Although few countries in their countries have banned Chinese apps, the Indian Government and its citizens have in their regular lives been thousands of Chinese products. Some of the electronics and intelligent gadgets are often questioned as tools for spyware.
There are also many reasons why India is working harder on China. For instance, Indians are strongly motivated by ongoing borders between India and China and the accusation of China spreading coronavirus as a bio-arms. In one of the many campaigns by Indian prime minister Modi, Netizens have called to boycott Chinese products.

These applications were all developed by Chinese players or linked in some way to China. It is therefore generally speculated that applications such as these contain spyware can be used to track and steal user information and to downplay this information in critical situations. It is still to be seen what the government of the Indians will decide.
