Bloomberg notes that after a reappearance in COVID-19 events, Apple is shutting some newly-opened retail stores in 4 US states. A total of eleven stores will be temporarily shut down in Florida, Arizona, North Carolina and South Carolina.

As Coronavirus pandemic spread, the company closed all its storehouses outside mainland China in March. In May it began to reopen U.S. stores with some providing only retailing or retail facilities without customers being allowed inside. Stores open to customers conducted temperature controls and needed the wearing of face masking by customers and employees.

"We are temporarily closing stores in these areas in view of the existing COVID-19 situation in some of the communities we represent," an Apple spokesman told The Verge in an email.
