Huawei of China states that Italy should not take action on 'baseless claims'
On Thursday, following reportings Italy considered excluding it from building its planned 5G network for safety reasons, Huawei Technologies of China defended its record as private sector infrastructure group.
The company stated in a statement: "We firmly believe that the security and development of digital italy should be based on a factual and non-founded approach.
In spite of pressure from Washington, which claims that the equipment of Huawei can be used for spying on the West, Italy has still not rejected Huawei 's plans, but the Government prepares a change of course on Wednesday.
