How offices will look in the future

The ongoing covid19 pandemic which struck the world in 2019 and wreaked havoc all across the globe has completely changed the way people think and act. People look at things from a completely new perspective. Millions of people were forced to work from their homes during the strict lockdowns which was imposed upon the general public by the governments of countries as a means to contain the spread of this virus.

Over that time, there seems to be a growing trend of people working from home as they feel there is no need to return to the office. The people who are in favor of home working argue that there is no need to work from a distant office building anymore, as their homes and cafes offer a suitable working environment. But the people who support the office culture feel that the office is more than a building made from bricks and stone as it is a place where employees solve problems, generate ideas and work as a team. Those who support the office claim that office is a cohesive whole rather than sum of its parts. Without a physical building which represents the ideas and culture of a company, all there will remain is a scattered collection of individuals loosely connected by a company's name.
