HBO is creating a limited series about Elon Musk and the founding of SpaceX

HBO is producing a six-episode limited series on the founding days of SpaceX and Elon Musk, Variety says. The show will be based on Ashlee Vance 's biography of the CEO of Tesla and the founder of SpaceX, but the billionaire capitalist himself is not personally involved in the series, according to the article.

The limited series would concentrate on Musk's recruiting of a small team of engineers and their creation of the first SpaceX rocket since its design and launch. The series will be produced by Channing Tatum and his production company, as well as Doug Jung, and written by Jung, who previously wrote a variety of science-fiction films, including Star Trek Beyond, as well as the Netflix series Mindhunter.

This portrayal of SpaceX and Musk may be significant, as it would be one of the first times the excentric billionaire designer has been depicted in a biographical fiction job.

Musk's establishment of SpaceX is also a perfect forage, provided that it required approaching Russian space firms to theoretically purchase ready-made rockets before realizing that it was too costly and choosing instead to develop their own.
