Cloud One, the cloud storage service that Cloud introduced back in 2018, will now back up your iOS or Android phone to your Google account for free. The iOS app will be able to back up your files , videos, addresses, and calendar activities, consolidating what's provided by different apps like Images and Drive in one location, states the Android Authority. Meanwhile, the Android app, which is also back up a variety of files from your computer, is now providing backups without a Google One membership.
In addition to backing up the files, Google One is now being modified to make it easy to handle which files are stored.

This storage management function is accessible from either the device or the site, allowing you to access files saved from Drive, Gmail, and Images in one location.
You get 15 GB of storage for free with your own Google Account (G Suite accounts are not enabled by new features), and Google provides paid storage plans beginning at $1.99 a month for 100 GB of data. Google says the latest updates will come out for Android in the coming days, and the updated iOS app will soon be released.
