A new Google maps feature that automatically estimates the amount of money the customer will have to pay in tolls to drive a given route has started appearing in the Android and IOS apps, according to a statement made by Google.

Google had first announced this toll feature in April. The Search Engine giant further added in its statement that the displayed toll pricing is based on "trusted information from local tolling authorities", and takes toll passes and also time of day into account when calculating the total cost.
