For entertainment, exclusive goods and more Twitch has a new channel
Twitch now has a new platform for game news: the Twitch Gaming website, where anything from recent releases to Twitch declines can be viewed. In a blog post, Twitch says streamers will lead the channel and promises to break huge news – such as the first competing Valorant events on the opening weekend on twitch.
There are also indie games on the new channel. Twitch Gaming will hold a showcase for new games and players AMAs later this year, and a Twitch-exclusive jam will take place from 26 to 28 June.
Finally, streamers can also connect to the canal and experience everything as the canal develops, live, in their communities.
From the launch of the internet, Twitch has become a gaming den. This latest channel is a reminder that Twitch knows where it came from, no matter how far away from its origins.
