Facetune Video allows you to spice up the selfies of your video

You may be familiar with Facetune, a hugely successful selfie editing software, but now the app's developers, Lightricks, are launching Facetune Video, which is built to help you touch selfie images.

Only pick one from your camera roll to start editing a picture. When you do so, the software should start looping so that you can continue making improvements in real time. There are a variety of choices to deal with, such as changing the color of the video, smoothing your face, whitening your smile, and even changing the scale of your nose and eyes. If you used Facetune or Facetune2 before, you can feel right at home with Facetune Video.

Applying changes is simple, in my experience with an app pre-release update. With most devices, Facetune Video provides an on-screen scale to change how powerfully the desired effect shows in the frame. And if you want to add the improvements to the original video, there's a convenient toggle button that you can keep down.

Here's an example of a video I took that shows how Facetune Video works. I flipped the "gloss" knob all the way up, and I go back and forth from my original video to see how it compares:

Facetune Video apps sound like a convenient way to remake your videos before you upload them with your friends or social network of choice. So the abundance of choices means that you will have a lot of resources to play with to make sure the video looks the way you want it to be.

Facetune Content is online, but certain editing software are not available until you pay for a subscription that costs $7.99 a month or $35.99 a year. There is also an option to pay a one-time fee of $69.99 if you choose.

Facetune Video is also available for free on iOS. Lightricks plans to bring it to Ios in the future, the Lightricks representative tells The Verge.
