Facebook takes down the call to arms event after two shots dead in Kenosha.

In the wake of a Facebook event by a militia that described the event as 'a rally of guns,' two demonstrators were killed in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Tuesday night.
 
Infowars, who posted a screenshot of the Facebook event page, also promoted the gathering. The listing is no longer available for public access, but the Kenosha Guard page on Facebook verified the Verge's authentication of the screenshots. The Facebook page of the party was also taken down, but by this morning it had more than 3,000 members.
 
A Facebook official said that they could not comment on an ongoing inquiry at this time. The platform however stated to The Verge that the Kenosha Guard page was deleted for breaching the Dangerous Persons and Organizations policy of the platform, which was extended earlier this month to include paramilitary groups. The August 25th list of events also stated that Facebook is in breach of the site policies.
 
Kenosha was shaken for three days by the protests over the killing of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old six-year - old father who was shot by the police on his back. The protests caused major property damage and on Monday night damaged a local correction station.
 
The Kenosha Guard Group Facebook proposed an armed response to the ongoing unrest on a post-Tuesday afternoon. "Will patriots take up arms and protect our town against evil therapists tonight? Read the message. They 're probably planning to burn this evening on the next section of the area.
 
 
After a clash between manifestants and men armed with long guns, at 11:45 PM on Tuesday night, two people were killed with the third injury that they suffer. The film shows an armed milician shooting demonstrators. Footage of the filming. The office of the local sheriff is currently reviewing the shooting and the shooter has yet to be confirmed.
 
In a Wednesday morning statement, the group said that it was unclear whether one of its leaders shot at the demonstrators, but did not disavow its perpetrator or shot. 'We do not know whether the armed citizen replied to a call to arms from the Kenosha Guard,' reads the document.
