Facebook is pushing Indian education

In fact , Facebook has identified the possibility of further spreading its tentacles on India's second largest internet market than any other international company in India.

The Social Juggernaut announced on Sunday that it had partnered with the Central Board of Secondary Education, a governmental entity that oversees private and public education in India, to launch a certified curriculum on digital security and online wellbeing and to enhance students and teachers' reality in the country.

Through these subject areas, Facebook and the CBSE are working to develop the abilities to securely browse the Internet, make well aware choices and think about mental health, the students said. they also want to prepare secondary school students for current and emerging jobs.

Facebook said that in different phases it will provide this training. Over 10,000 teachers are trained during the first phase; 30,000 students are trained in the second phase. With the help of Jed Foundation and Young Leaders for Active Citizenship, Instagram's Guide to Building Healthy Digital Habits aims to help young people to get to know the "social and emotional space" in which they engage in healthcare conversations.

I am proud to say that CBSE is the only board with Digital Safety and Online Well-Being, Instagram Teens Toolkit and Augmented Reality modules introduced to it. With technology and digital security in the curriculum , students gain knowledge not only to succeed in the digital economy, but also to learn and cooperate in a secure online environment, "stated Manoj Ahuya

Today's announcement covers a remarkable week in India which started by blocking almost 60 Chinese companies' cyber security services from New Delhi. TikTok, one of Indian services, identified Asia's third-largest economy as its largest non-China market.
