DuckDuckGo privacy-oriented search engine has been restored in India since it was inaccessible to many users since 1 July, Android Police said. There are different reports of what caused the outage. Some users reported that the Indian government appeared behind the block, while others reported that they got what appeared to be DNS search errors, according to Android police.
The service seemed to be restored by Saturday morning in India, DuckDuckGo tweeted.
