Downtime Happens Get Notified Instantly Using Uptime Robot
Uptime Robot uses a system of distributed monitoring to minimize the false positives.
All primary inspections are made from the Dallas-USA major engines. However, as soon as a downtime is detected, secondary requests are sent from remote nodes located in different countries / continents to verify this downtime.
Whitelisting
If the monitoring works fine for you, no action is required. However, if you get any false / positives, there is a strong chance that your hosting provider will block the IPs used.
Please make sure that you whitelist these IPs so that any requests that Uptime Robot send are not blocked.

The main monitoring location is in Dallas-USA and there are other nodes to verify down statuses in other countries / continents.

- P.S. Remote nodes currently have dynamic IPv6 addresses which is why they are not listed.

How Does It Work? The Facts
Here are Uptime Robot's step-by - step actions to better understand him:
- It asks for the headers of your websites and gets status codes such as "200-ok," "404-not found" etc. Every 5 minutes (or more depending on the settings on the monitor),
- If the status code does not display a problem, then we are good
- If the status code is ~400 + and +500, the site isn't loaded
- Uptime Robot makes some more searches in the next 30 seconds to ensure the system is down,This sends an alert if the site is still down.
