Discord is breaking down due to connectivity problems
Popular chat service Discord currently experiences widespread server outages. The issues began at about 5PM ET, and seem to affect all Discord users. The status page for the company is not even online right now, but Discord says it investigates the problems.
"Because of an upstream internet issue, users are currently having trouble disconnecting to Discord," a Discord tweet states. "We have all the engineers on deck looking into the issue."

This is this year's second major Discord outage, after the service was hit back in March with connectivity problems. The demand and use for these apps increased considerably as the coronavirus pandemic started, with increasing numbers of friends , family members, and communities coming into touch with these apps.
