Computex 2020 is cancelled officially

Computex 2020 has now been canceled by organizers because of the ongoing coronavirus-pandemic effect. Unlike several other technological conferences planned for 2020, the series will be absent for one year.

The next gathering in Computex will be held from 1 to 5 June 2021.

In a blog post, many of the participants did not attend a show in September because of the pandemic and the subsequent limitations on travel to help avoid the spread of the pandemic.

In contrast with the rest of the world Taiwan was lauded for the isolation of coronavirus patients and the relatively early introduction of restricted travel, with a total of fewer than 500 cases and 7 deaths from COVID-19.

The organizers said that Computex 2019 attracted nearly 43,000 tourists from 171 countries. The yearly tech show isn't the only one to cancel the 2020 bill.

In February, MWC canceled its 2020 show and, at the time Google canceled I / O 2020, E3 was canceled in March. Some other shows, such as the F8 developer conference on Facebook, opted to go with their annual meeting 's virtual versions.
