On Friday, China released a updated list of innovations forbidden or limited for export in the light of the country's rapid growth of science and technology.
The modification on the website of the Ministry of Commerce excludes four products in export forbidden technologies and five items in export restricted technologies, such as firewall software technology.
It introduces 23 new restricted technologies, including space content processing and laser technology. It also sets the criteria for a variety of other innovations.
With the increasing advancement of science and technology and the steady progress of China's intellectual and technical power and industrial productivity, it is necessary to change the list in time in line with international practice, the Ministry said on its website.
The growth of China's research and technology industries has been a cause of trade tension with the United States.
The final revision of the list was made in 2008.
