China launches a satellite to test new communication technologies.
Thursday, China successfully launched a new communication technology experiment satellite into orbit from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, southwest China.
The satellite was launched at 0:43 a.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-3B carrier rocket and has entered the targeted orbit.
This was the 405th mission of the Long March series carrier rockets.
