COVID-19 vaccination registration for those aged 18 and up will begin on April 28 in India: How do I register and make an appointment?

In India, the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign will begin on May 1. In the third step of the vaccination drive, the Indian government has declared that every person over the age of 18 will be liable to be vaccinated. Until now, only people over the age of 45 were eligible for the Coronavirus vaccine, but starting next month, the government will broaden the eligibility requirements. This comes after the country experienced an unexpected increase in new COVID-19 incidents. As of April 22, India had reported 3,32,503 new cases of Coronavirus, with 1,36,41,606 cases recovering fully.

Starting May 1, all Indian people over the age of 18 will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination, according to the Indian government. However, qualifying citizens will be able to register a day earlier, on April 28, so that the system is not overburdened on the first day.

Furthermore, the government has declared that in order to schedule an appointment, citizens must first register online via the CoWIN website or the Aarogya Setu app, as on-site registrations result in a crowded situation at vaccination centers. So, if you're over the age of 18, here's how to get the COVID-19 vaccine in India starting April 28.
