There is an old saying that if something is too good to be true, it probably is.  A lot of people were speculating with keen interest that Belkin is working on what could be the very first consumer gadget with truly wireless charging, the kind that actually beams a small amount of power through the air and across a room

However, Belkin is denying such claims and the company even released a statement confirming that there is no product as of yet, and the company has no further plans of pursuing this project in the near future.
