Patanjali Ayurved will launch an exclusive online trade marketplace to supply made-in-India goods and Swadeshi (indigenous) solutions in almost 48 hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to purchase and support local products such as khadi.
The OrderMe e-commerce website will supply Ayurvedic products by Patanjali and will connect customers to local shops selling Indian goods. In addition, orders will be posted on the website within a few hours, free of charge.
It will send people from around 1,500 Patanjali doctors and offer yoga tutorials 24X7 free medical advice. In the next 15 days, the platform is scheduled to start.
In response to Prime Modi's call for a 'local voice,' Patanjali Ayurved, Chief Officer and CEO Acharya Balkrishna confirmed the proposal, making the effort to provide Swadeshi products.
OrderMe will only include Swadeshi items and support them. Patanjali is making a contribution to our Swadeshi long-term movement by linking all local retailers and smallholders in order to strengthen our forum for those selling Swadeshi goods. You can enter the platform and the aim is to supply the goods free of charge.
Balkrishna also added that micro, SMEs distributing domestic articles will be encouraged to enter and benefit from e-commerce.
