Apple's Foldable iPhone Concept Pass Internal Reliability Test at Foxconn Factory:
Apple's folding iPhone prototypes have passed internal reliability checks, as announced. Two related designs were allegedly tested at the Foxconn plant in Shenzhen, China. One of them is a dual-screen model concept, as stated, and the other is a foldable clamshell similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip or Motorola Razr. The study forecasts that a foldable iPhone will launch at the end of 2022 or 2023.
According to the Taiwanese publication Currency, the two concept phones passed internal testing for reliability at the Foxconn plant. The second prototype of Apple, the clamshell edition, could use a flexible Samsung OLED monitor, according to the article.
Apple will determine the most possible product to deploy and abandon the other model, the study said.
YouTuber Jon Prosser said in a recent video that Apple is working on a clamshell-like folding iPhone, which is in line with the report's statements. Prosser also reported that Apple's first foldable iPhone is scheduled to be launched in 2023. He said the study is in the early stages right now. He also posted a concept picture of the folded iPhone, which indicates that the alleged iPhone may have a flip-like design.
With a foldable iPhone in the future, Apple will join the ranks of Samsung and Motorola, already the only two firms selling such handsets.
The study adds that while Apple is not the first to typically introduce a new invention, it guarantees the highest results after it is launched.
