Amazon's cloud gaming application, Luna, is entering early access today, the firm said. A limited number of US-based users can obtain invites to try the service and even buy Amazon's game controller if they want to do so (though it is not necessary to play games on Luna).
With early entry, players will be able to entry Luna, which is accessible via Fire TV, Mac, PC, and iOS web applications. Android is expected to be released shortly. Early access allows you to sign up for the Luna Plus Gaming Channel, which comes with 50 games for $5.99 a month. The Ubisoft-specific channel is also scheduled to be launched shortly. You won't have to buy individual games (Amazon doesn't sell complete game purchases) and early access players get seven days of Luna Plus free of charge. But after that, Amazon is going to start paying you with its monthly subscription.
Amazon launched Luna in September, although the service has been speculated since last year. In the coming months, the organization will begin to add more players. We're just getting started and we need streamers and players of all kinds — core, casual, and first-time players — to have input, said Amazon Entertainment Devices and Services Vice President Marc Whitten. I want to know what the consumers want, what they don't like, and what they want us to create. If we do a wonderful thing, tell us. We want to know that, too, if we're lacking the pub. We can't wait to know what you're saying.
