Amazon removed racist pictures from several headphone lists

According to Amazon, it has removed racist-language images from the headphone lists on its UK site. Users have posted screenshots of the "AirPods" and "bluetooth headphones" search results on Facebook, which appear on the Internet site. Instead of headphone pictures, images containing the N-word were included in the search results.

The ads seemed to have been limited to the UK platform, and appeared on new sellers from Amazon, most of whom had little to no customer feedback.

The pictures were not shown on Amazon's UK site since Sunday morning. The Amazon spokesperson, in an e-mail to the Verge on Sunday, stated: "Our store has content requirements that third-party sellers will obey." "We investigated, deleted these photos and took action against the wrong individual as soon as this question was posed."

Amazon would allow third-party vendors to meet the guidelines for its products or risk losing their accounts.
